Machine Operator (99309)
Bonney Staffing- Salisbury, NC
The machine operator position in Salisbury, NC is responsible for performing production steps associated with operating twisting, winding, braiding, and/or Uniline machines unassisted. This is a short term 2nd shift position with the possibility of long term. You will provide the ability to follow instructions and complete tasks independently and the ability to identify problems with products and/or machinery and report it immediately. You will operate all machines, be responsible for retrieving and following an electronic schedule on a daily basis, maintain a clean and safe work environment by following 6S standards, operate the machine according to specific process documentation, maintain paperwork to ensure inventory and production schedules are up to date, follow machine specific preventative maintenance schedules, performs quality control functions by inspecting, identifying and reporting variances in yarn quality, and perform basic preventative machine maintenance.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of consistent work history in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
- Ability to bend, stand, kneel, twist, pull and work overhead.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to follow detailed operating instructions and perform basic math skills.
- Knowledge of company quality assurance expectations and packaging requirements.
Hours:
- Short term with the possibility of long term.
- 2nd Shift: 3:00pm-11:30pm
Benefits:
Starting pay of $13.00 hourly commensurate with experience.
