Administrative Assistant (99121)

Bonney Staffing - Newcastle, ME

Position Summary: Primarily responsible for supporting the Buyers in the daily operations of the

departments. Data entry, inventory, product maintenance and providing superior customer service.

Essential Functions:

  • Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to the following areas:
  • Order Entry for Purchase Orders including new item creation and re-order item maintenance
  • Order Entry for Reorders
  • Processing of inventory in POS system for incoming deliveries.
  • General POS Maintenance - such as retail changes, store to store transfers, size up data entry,

UPC entry, end of season item maintenance, etc.

  • Typing and Distribution of Communications to Stores —for example: Retail Changes, Return
  • Notice, Size up, etc.
  • Assist Warehouse with Purchase Order questions and maintenance
  • Assist Stores with product questions and customer service.
  • Communication with Vendors as needed
  • Other functions: Be available to other Buyers and Assistants in following the company objectives.
  • Foster a team atmosphere.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One year of experience in an office or administrative position
  • Type at least 40 WPM
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment
  • Must be extremely organized and detail-oriented
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
  • Experience with Dynamics AX Preferred

Hours:

  • Full time, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, M – F, Temp to hire

  • Starting pay of $13.00 hourly, commensurate with experience
