Bonney Staffing – Brewer, ME
The Accountant in Brewer is responsible for professional level accounting functions. This is a full time temporary position lasting through July 17, 2020. You will examine, analyze, maintain, reconcile, and verify financial records. You will prepare journal entries and review entries from lower level staff for accuracy. You will assist with generating reports for monthly closings. You will analyze transactions and determine corrective action or adjustments needed. You will be tasked with additional duties as assigned. If you have 3-5 years of experience in an accounting role and looking to get a start within a large organization, this may be the job for you!
Qualifications:
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in an accounting field
Minimum 3 years related experience
Experience in a health care setting is preferred
Knowledge of General Ledger Systems
CPA or CMA credentials preferred
Hours:
Full Time: Monday – Friday 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
Benefits:
Starting pay of $22.30 hourly, commensurate with experience.
