Maintenance Supervisor (98597)

Bonney Staffing - Biddeford, ME

The Maintenance Supervisor position in Biddeford, ME is responsible for supervising and coordinating activities of workers engaged in maintaining and repairing physical structures of buildings and grounds. This position will also coordinate all Extruding and Injection Molding Machine repair and Preventative Maintenance. You will direct workers engaged in the general cleaning and upkeep of buildings, including buffing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and washing of floors, as well as directing workers assisting other departments as requested, including moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or 10-12 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
• Ability to work with a Boiler and have prior Boiler experience. Maine State Boiler Certification is Required
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Experience with Word Processing, Spreadsheet software and Internet software.

Hours:

• Full time
• 1st shift: 7:00 am - 3:00 pm, M - F
• Direct Hire
