Job Description: The Machine Operator position in Portsmouth,NH is responsible for performing equipment maintenance per company guidelines, Inspecting material for defects, compliance with OSHA safety standards and other responsibilities as needed.
What We Need From You:
High School Diploma
Knowledge of general warehouse practices and basic machine operation
Good eye for color and color matching, with an attention to detail
Proficient with basic word-processing and spreadsheet software.
Able to follow written instructions for machine set-up and maintenance
Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task
Ability to manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Must be willing and able to work safely with chemicals in an industrial environment
Must be physically able to move about freely and stand for long periods of time (up to an entire shift)
Able to lift up to 60 pounds
Ability to write summaries and reports
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to maintain confidentiality.
Willingness to take direction and work within a group towards team goals
