Bonney Staffing – Salisbury, NC
Job Summary:
The expeditor position in Salisbury, NC is responsible for acting as a conduit from the Salisbury location to the centralized purchasing team at the Lincoln location, communicate parts shortages to appropriate buyers, work with various departments to determine the amount and type of goods required, assist with counting inventory, track orders, provide daily updates, and maintain timely communications. This is a full-time first shift position. You will provide ideas and proposals to the team for the resolution of problems and improvements. You will issue purchase orders within MRP system through requisitions or customer demand and receive purchase order within MRP system to multiple site locations accurately. You’ll help with movement of materials or packaging. If you are detail-oriented and ready to learn, this may be the job for you!
What We Need From You:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-2 Years of Expediting Experience (Professional Environment)
- 1-2 Years of Purchasing Experience
- Common Purchasing and Negotiation practices.
- Experience using MRP/ERP Systems
- Professional communication both written and verbally.
- Ability to adapt to frequent changes.
- Ability to be time and detail oriented.
