Payroll & Human Resources Assistant (97625)

Bonney Staffing - Lewiston, ME

The Payroll Specialist/Human Resources Assistant position in Lewiston is responsible for providing payroll and human resource support for an administrative team, processing payroll and addressing any discrepancies or concerns, operating multiple systems to input data accurately and efficiently, providing backup for accounting as needed, and other duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience (benefits administration support and general human resource)
  • High School Graduate
  • Type at least 40 WPM
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
  • The ability to maintain high standards of confidentiality and discretion
  • Strong computer skills including the advanced use of Adobe, Excel, Microsoft Word
  • Experience with third party payroll software, and accounting software (TABS)

Hours:

  • First shift position with the potential of temp to hire for the right candidate.
  • The schedule is expected to be 25-40 hours a week, depending on the workload.
