Job Description
Job Summary:
The Order Filler position in Lewiston is responsible for quickly navigating a large warehouse via forklift to identify and select the correct quantity of a specific product to build an order. This is a full time position on first shift working the days of Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 4:00 am to 3:30pm. An order is specific to a store, and the pallet is built to fulfill the needs for that store. The pallet must be "built," placing heaviest items lower and then the least heavy items towards the top, so you will be required to demonstrate keen attention to detail. Communication is critical, comprehension as well as clear, precise speaking is required. The head sets are sensitive and if someone is not able to enunciate, it will make it difficult for all involved. You will be using a forklift the entire time, in addition to the headset to listen to the orders coming through. When an order is heard, and then selected, you speak into the headset which records that the order has been picked. If you are looking for a hands-on, mentally stimulating position, this may be the job for you!
What We Need From You:
- Prior forklift/order picking experience preferred
- Ability to bend, lift, and twist up to 50 pounds throughout your shift.
- Professional, focused attitude
