Job Summary:
The Medical Billing Specialist position in Saco is responsible for working with aging accounts and collect pending receivable payments from patients and insurance companies. You will provide quality customer service, problem solve and find solutions. You will be an advocate for customers by completing appeas for claim denials and/or low insurance payments. You’ll help others and serve as a direct line from customer clinics to the company's billing team. If you are self-motivated, energetic and have strong communication skills, this may be the job for you!
What We Need From You:
2-3 years of customer service experience
Medical billing experience helpful, but not required
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience with dual monitors preferred
Type at least 40 WPM
Ability to learn new software
Professional email and phone etiquette
Experience with Word/Excel software required
Able to work in a fast-pace cubicle environment
